Questions

What people ask about suspended ceilings

How far does the ceiling come down?

Just enough for the frame and whatever needs hiding; usually very little. We’ll measure up at your home and let you know.

Can you add insulation above?

Yes. Mineral wool above the new ceiling helps with noise from upstairs or heat on the top floor.

Can I add spotlights afterwards?

Yes. We prepare the openings where you want them and the electrician connects the lights.

How much does a plasterboard false ceiling cost?

It depends on the size, whether it has an LED cove for indirect lighting, how many spotlights and whether it’s seamless or demountable. With photos or measurements, we’ll give you a price today.
